BREATHLESS MOVIE POSTER

For this project I was tasked with creating two separate posters both based off of the 1960 French New Wave film Breathless. The purpose of this project was to capture the overall tone and aesthetic of the film in a new styling. For this project I took heavy influence from the genre of French New Wave as well as drama based thriller films such as breathless. The goal of this project was to Identify the overall tone and look of Breathless as well as replicate the French New Wave style in a more modern vibrant look to.

Concepts and Roughs

The basis for this project started with an analysis of the film as well as research about its origins and the french new wave movement.
